Anonymous asked: Hello :) I haven't been on your blog long so I'm not sure if a similar question has been asked before, but here we go. I'm 14, and I really want to dye my hair purple. My hair is sort of really wavy/curly and it looks pretty nice when I just let it do what it does, but it's already kind of damaged, so I was wondering if the whole bleaching and dying process would cause it to frizz up so if I do leave it natural, it just looks like a frizzy mess? My hair is also reaaaally thick.

Hi! The bleach won’t necessarily frizz out your curly locks but it might split the ends a bit. But that’s an easy fix. Go ahead and bleach your hair corresponding to the directions specifically for your colors and length. After then, use a hydrating conditioner after rinsing. They have this curling hair hold by Aussie, I think it’s a foam. Use that to smooth your curls out a bit so you don’t have to risk the ‘frizz’ !! I hope this helps!

Anonymous asked: I got my hair done a week ago and the lady who did it didn't make the red bright enough. she mixed brown with red and it was bleach blonde before she dyed it so what can i do to make it brighter? I want to dye it myself but I'm not sure where to start.

The reason why she added the brown into the red was to create a foundation. If you put red in bleached blonde hair, it’s going to fade quickly. If you put darker tones in with the red, it stabilizes the pigments. If you want a brighter red, go to a hair supply store, pick up L’Oreal Hi-Color and get Magenta, that one will give you the brightest results.
